Hold your hat by the brim closer to the crown, grab the front and back of the brim to take it off or pick it up.
Hang your hat on a hat rack or peg but not for a long period of time as this will change its shape.
Store your hat in the hatbox in a cool dry place to help it retain its shape and stay clean.
Gently dust your hat regularly using a soft bristle brush with counter-clockwise motions.
If your felt hat gets wet, gently shake off as much excess water as possible and return the hat to its original shape. If your hat has a flat brim, place it on a flat surface, else turn it upside down on the crow and let it dry naturally.
Do not use a hairdryer, radiator or clothes dryer to dry your hat; never leave your hat in the car if it’s hot outside as heat will shrink it.
